Tratos will showcase its full range of medium and high voltage cable solutions at CABLEx 2017, the UK’s only Power Cables and Jointing Technologies exhibition and Safety Expo next month.
CABLEx, which takes place at Chester Racecourse on 7th June is an opportunity to learn about existing and new innovations within the Power Cables industry and how they will impact on the UK Electrical Network sector.
Attended by representatives from Electricity Utilities, Network Operators, IDNOs, Rail, Renewables and Telecoms, this industry networking event enables discussion on current engineering practice and development.
CABLEx is expected to attract more than 1,000 industry experts including Power Cables Policy, Standards and Project Engineers, Jointers and Civil Workers, Health and Safety, Procurement and Cables Transport Specialists. It will also likely to be of interest to those who strive to make Health and Safety and Cable Jointing and associated Civil works their number one priority.
Earlier this year Tratos was in receipt of BS OHSAS 18001 which sets out the minimum requirements for occupational health and safety management best practice and helps companies achieve the maximum return for employees, operations and customers. The Italian-owned UK-based cable innovator is committed to this rigorous independent testing regime in line with its focus on the quality of its products, quality system, employees and over-arching health and safety practices.
Tratos is the first and only cable manufacturer in Europe to achieve BASEC approval for medium voltage cables to BS 7870-4.10, a cable type specifically intended for a wide range of cable applications between 6.35 and 33kV for power distribution.
