SCOPE: The “DEF STAN 61-12 Part 31” Defence Standard specifies the requirements and tests for limited fire hazard sheathing material for electric cables for Ministry of Defence (MOD) use. This sheathing material is used as the sheath of cables in the manufacture of DEF STAN 02-526, DEF STAN 02-527 and DEF STAN 61-12 part 25 cables.
