Tratos UK and Italy highlight both companies’ full compliance and BASEC approval ahead of Brexit deal resolution – and keep things simple for customers
Tratos today moved to remind customers that both its UK and Italy businesses, which serve markets globally, have been ‘deal or no deal’ BREXIT-ready and BASEC approved since well before EU trade deal negotiations began.
Having the right approvals will continue to offer customers the assurance of full compliance across all Tratos products, for every application, anywhere in the world.
Some companies will struggle to sell products in the UK from January 1. If their products require a third-party assessment of conformity by a notified body, and that notified body is not a UK-based approved body, these companies will not be able to sell on the UK market.
The UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) mark will be the new UK product marking that will be used for certain products on the UK market if the UK leaves the European Union without a BREXIT deal.
It will not be recognised on the EU market. Products that require CE marking will still need a CE marking to be sold in the EU.
Tratos is fully compliant for international markets and also AENOR compliant in Italy.
