Tratos has a strong presence and expanded manufacturing capabilities in the UK. Our main facility in Knowsley, Merseyside, features:
- Four extrusion lines and multiple laying machines capable of producing up to 100 pairs of instrumentation-type cables
- Two BX armouring machines are used to manufacture corrugated aluminium/steel armour, providing additional protection for specialised cables.
Tratos UK has its own comprehensive testing facilities, offering standard voltage, spark, and resistance tests and advanced tests for elongation, heat shock, shrink-back, and vertical flame resistance. The company holds ISO 9001 accreditation for quality assurance, including enhanced product-related quality management systems and ISO 14001 certification for environmental management.
