Superconductivity – ICAS
Tratos is an active member of ICAS (Innovation and Consulting on Applied Superconductivity), which helps the Tratos innovation team to design and produce not only superconducting conductors but also other diversified high-technology productions and services.
Overhead Conductor
Throughout the years, Tratos has developed its overhead conductors, which are used in overhead transmission and distribution network applications. Most recently, it has developed, tested and successfully installed a completely new hybrid design of conductor for use in overhead lines.
Bornewables™
Tratos has partnered with Borealis and together they made it possible the first use of Bornewables™ in the energy industry. This new technology creates new viable solutions for business to reduce their carbon footprint.
Fiberness
For more than 15 years Tratos has been the leader and the organiser of the most awaited appointment in the world of Italian and international telecommunications. Fibernees- was one of the most anticipated events in the industry’s calendar for 2015. The landmark event was focused on the development of ultra speed broadband and building momentum of achieving the ambitious goals to serve the European Digital Agenda.
HyNet North West Project with ENI
The HyNet North West integrated project is aimed at decarbonising the important industrial district in the North-West of England. The project has received £33 million in funding from UK Research and Innovation (UKRI). Tratos, together with ENI is fully involved in the project in the attempt to give its contribution to sustainable development.
