Infrarail 2018

Tratos brings cable innovation to Infrarail 2018.

Fire safety and CPR will be on the agenda as global cable manufacturer Tratos exhibits a portfolio of cables for mass transit and rail metro applications at this year’s Infrarail.

Tratos designs, manufactures and supplies to the railway infrastructure sector and continued UK investment enables Tratos to deliver a wide range of specialised cable solutions.  This includes: Medium and High Voltage cable for substation connection and switchgear; Data and Telecommunication Cable (copper & fibre optic), Signalling Power & Control cables, OLE cable, Track Feeder cable to station and premises and Rolling Stock cable.

Tratos has just announced a contract to supply axle counter cable, low voltage signally power and control cable to Thales GTS for its Transport for London/London Underground Four Lines Modernisation programme (4LM). Here Tratos has designed a range of fully compliant cables to meet all the required electrical, physical and fire safety code of practice demands without compromising the safety critical signally and control systems.

In addition, the company has achieved LUL approval (S1108) for its Track Feeder cable.
