As part of the latest regular root and branch review of its ethical policies, global cable manufacturer Tratos has launched an even tougher stance on professional business practices. As part of a suite of strengthened CSR policies, and alongside its zero-tolerance stance on modern slavery, its policies to protect against bribery and corruption have again been up-rated.
CEO, Dr Maurizio Bragagni, said: “Like most businesses, it is our policy to conduct all of ourselves in an honest and ethical manner. We don’t tolerate bribery and corruption and are committed to acting professionally, fairly and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships.
“It is important that those working for and with us understand that we expect the same from everyone in our orbit. Any employee who breaches this policy will face disciplinary action – with severe consequences.
“Every day we strive to be the best that we can be. The best and most innovative advanced cable solutions, the best people working shoulder to shoulder. Our values are built on fairness and honesty. We are a family business and it is our way of working. However, like all businesses we have to constantly stay vigilant to make sure everyone understands that we live our values and we don’t compromise.
“We regularly review and, where we can, strengthen our policies to ensure we perform to the highest standards ethically. The new policies leave no room for misinterpretation and provide total clarity about what is acceptable in business.”
Tratos policies to protect against bribery and corruption is part of a wider review of its CSR policies.
