Tratos’ CEO and Chair Dr Maurizio Bragagni was a guest at Buckingham Palace in June 2019 to join other Queen’s Award for Enterprise winners at an event to celebrate some of the best and most forward-thinking businesses in Britain.
Dr Bragagni met HRH Prince Charles and spoke with fellow recipients of the country’s most prestigious award for business.
Advanced technology cable-maker Tratos won its Queen’s Award for Innovation; the company has worked hard to create a culture of innovation and has a reputation as the go-to company for developing solutions where none currently exist.
The coveted 2019 award was won by the company for its new cable sheathing compound, Tratos JBA®. The sheathing is tough enough to shrug off the most corrosive elements and protect cable function in the harshest of environments.
Commenting on winning the award Dr Maurizio Bragagni said: “We were confident of the quality of our Tratos JBA® innovation and the advances it brings, but we were absolutely thrilled to learn it had been recognised with a Queen’s Award.”
