Tratos joined others from the Port Equipment Manufacturers Association at PEMA’s AGM in Amsterdam last week (19th-21st February).
The three-day event saw members and invited guests meet to hear the latest updates on association activities and progress the work of the PEMA Technical Committee work groups.
Tratos CEO, Dr Maurizio Bragagni, is a former Vice President of the Association which was formed in 2004 to provide a forum and public voice for the global port equipment and technology sectors. The Association has more than 110-member companies representing all facets of the industry, including crane, equipment and component manufacturers, automation, software and technology providers, consultants and other experts.
Dr Bragagni’s company has been an active innovator of port cabling for well over two decades, developing advances in automation that not only improve ports’ performance, but deliver a big step forward in safeguarding the people who work within the industry.
As a supplier of specialist cables Tratos works closely with customers to find better, more environmentally friendly solutions to their challenges in order to drive better, cleaner and safer performance. The company continues to support PEMA’s objectives and work closely with the port industry.
