TRATOS® H05SJ K – EN

SILICONE CABLES 300/500 V

Special Cables / High Temperature Cables

Tratos® H05SJ-K Cable for High-Temperature Applications.  Fixed internal wiring of appliances, lighting, power supplies and electronics where no mechanical protection is required.

All Tratos Tratos High-Temperature cables are designed to be capable of operating in extreme temperatures, from -60°C up to +180°C in normal operation, with a short circuit temperature rating of +350°C. This means silicone insulated cables are ideal for use in places where resistance to heat is essential such as lighting appliances, catering equipment including industrial cookers and ovens. Silicone rubber insulated cables are also ideal for use at sub-zero temperatures. Manufactured by Tratos the range of sizes available is from 0,5 mm2 up to 16 mm2 where the mechanical properties of cables 1.5 mm2 and larger make them suitable for use in conduit.

The flexible Type K conductor used in the manufacture of these Tratos® H05SJ-K cables allows for ease of installation and ensures a low bending radius. They are available in two different conductor materials, plain copper or nickel. The glass fibre braid applied over the extruded silicone rubber insulation provides a degree of protection to the silicone rubber.

Although not designed for use in safety-critical applications Tratos® H05SJ-K Cables are however manufactured from low smoke halogen-free (LSZH) materials.
