TRATOS MTO®-FU NYHSSYCY – PVC 3.6/6 kV
TRATOS MTO®-FU N3GHSSYCY – Rubber 3.6/6 kV to 12/20 kV
As feeder cable for power supply of shiftable MV equipment e .g. explosion-proof transformers, for underground mining applications as well as for tunnel sites. This cable-type is available in two different material constructions. TRATOS MTO-FU NYHSSYCY – PVC 3,6/6kv and TRATOS MTO-FU N3GHSSYCY – rubber 3,6/6kv and 12720kv.
The conductor is a finely stranded copper conductor, not tinned, class5 (refer to DIN VDE 0295). The insulation refers to DIN VDE 0207, part4 and part 20 is PVC based thermoplastic compound type YI5. The EPR based insulation compound type 3Gi3.
Arrangement of the protective-earth conductor is individually laid-up concentrically as an outer semiconductive layer. The electrical field control via copper wire braiding individually laid-up concentrically as an outer semiconductive layer. The core arrangement is three main cores laid-up each with one control core in the outer interstices.
Filler compound is EPR. The intermediate sheath is PVC based plastic compound type YM5. The anti-torsional braid is made of galvanized steel wires. The outer sheath is PVC based thermoplastic type YM5 in red colour. The cable is marked as follows: Year of manufacture; VDE; TRATOS MTO-FU NYHSSYCY; cross-section and rated voltage.
Cables are produced to the following standards: DIN VDE 0250 part 212 for the PVC version and DIN VDE 0250 part 605 for the rubber version.
