Concentrically stranded, All Aluminium Alloy Conductors (AAAC) are crafted from high-strength Aluminium-Magnesium-Silicon Alloy. Tratos specializes in the manufacture and supply of AAAC in various variants, employing electrical-grade alloy types 6101 and 6201, utilizing one or more strands of hard-drawn 1350 aluminium alloy.

These conductors are engineered to achieve a superior strength-to-weight ratio and offer enhanced electrical characteristics, exceptional sag-tension properties, and superior resistance to corrosion in comparison to ACSR conductors. AAAC has gained widespread acceptance in distribution, medium, and high-voltage transmission lines, thanks to its lighter weight, equivalent strength and current-carrying capacity, reduced electrical losses, and outstanding corrosion resistance when compared to traditional ACSR conductors.

Tratos provides the flexibility to manufacture and supply AAAC on either non-returnable wooden/steel reels or returnable steel reels, catering to the specific needs of our customers.
