TRATOS RS US-HT 1.8/3 or 3.6/6 kV Single core with flexible conductors

Tratos high temperature EN50382 silicone insulated and LSZH sheath power cables are particularly recommended where high temperature operation is required, they can be manufactured with tinned or plain copper conductor in either class 5 or class 6 (above 70.0mm2) and brings installation advantages thanks to its high abrasion and tearing resistance.

The power cables are intended for rolling stock applications where special fire performances are required: flame and fire retardant, halogen-free, low smoke emission, low toxicity and low corrosive of fumes. A 140°C conductor temperature is allowed for a 20,000 hours cumulate working time for 120°C types.

EN50382-2 High temperature silicone rubber insulated power cables, having special fire performances, with flexible conductors to BS EN 60228, with a +120 °C and +150 °C core operating temperature in 1.8/3 kV or 3.6/6 kV voltage grade.

The materials Tratos uses have been developed over many years to provide required mechanical and thermal properties, fire performance requirements to International (IEC), British and European standards.
Tratos rolling stock cable comply with the strict technical requirements in terms of fire-performance for both interior and external use; EN 45545-2 (HL3 R15 & R16) and Transport for London (TfL) S1180 A9 Standard for rolling stock materials performance requirements.

Tratos EN50382 cables have the following properties; Halogen free, flame resistance, Low smoke, low toxicity, high chemical resistance, high mechanical properties, heat & cold resistance and ozone resistance.

Tratos rolling stock cables should always be installed and operated under the guidelines for selections and the installation in the standards BS EN 50355 and BS EN50343.
