Tratos joins a global shipping industry conference and exhibition this week examining automation, digitisation and standardisation across every element of the sector in Singapore (April 9-10).
Industry stakeholders will look at the impact of new technology, both as an enabler and a disruptor, shaking up the status quo of international trade, supply chain, logistics, transport and port operations worldwide.
In a fast-moving and rapidly developing industry TOC is one of the go-to venues to see emerging and in 2019 TOC will see automated and digital impacts at the heart of its events. The conference is one of the biggest showcases of the latest international developments and technologies and the exhibition is one of the world’s leading shipping, ports and terminal events. It attracts major manufacturers and suppliers and is designed to allow access to – and examination of – emerging technologies and on-the-market advances that will help grow and improve their businesses.
Tratos has issued an open invitation to delegates to visit Stand D10 to discuss its products and innovations for the port sector, in particular its special High Speed reeling cables (up to 300 mt/min). The company has also recently participated in a number of automation projects, supplying cables for ASC, ERTG or STS cranes.
As an innovation-led cable manufacturer Tratos is a leader in Electrical, Electronic and Fibre Optic cable technology. It serves worldwide markets, creating bespoke solutions where necessary and manufacturing to an exceptionally high standard. The company is a major force in the manufacture and supply of cables for shore power (or “cold ironing”), the technology that enables ships switching to electrical supply at ports to drastically reduce emissions.
Tratos has five manufacturing facilities in Italy and the UK, employing people around the world producing electrical, electronic and fibre optic cable solutions.
