Cable manufacturer Tratos Cavi SpA will be exhibiting its new range of Micro Cable at The Italian Association for Trenchless Technology’s No Dig Live (18-20th May) event to be held at Telecom Italy’s premises in Valsavignone, Pieve Santo Stefano in Italy.
The event is aimed at public and private major network operators of underground utilities such as gas, energy, telecommunications and addresses implementation and operation of the infrastructure of underground networks.
The event is sponsored by “Patrocinio del Ministero dello Sviluppo Economico, di Federutility, di ANCI e della Regione Lombardia“.
Visitors to the event will be able to gain a better understanding of the technologies and materials used for the installation, recovery and rehabilitation of underground infrastructures, as well as capture more detail on the economic, legislative and environmental impact of no-dig technologies. The event will incorporate presentations, panel discussions and debates, exhibitor stands and live demonstrations on the use of trenchless technologies.
Capable of managing a 192 cable with a 7.5 mm OD – currently the smallest in the world – the lightweight and flexible Micro Cable is designed to be blown in very small ducts or sub ducts. Reducing the number of joints required in installation, the cable also offers a reduced resistance when being passed through.
