Drawing upon their skills and experience of manufacturing HV cables up to 245 kV and flexible rubber Mining cables up to 35 kV Tratos are also an important supplier of Pantograph cables for all types of Electric Railway Rolling Stock. 

The standard range of pantograph cables manufactured by Tratos are rated at 26 kV and 45 kV. The multi-stranded flexible conductors and elastomeric compounds used in the manufacture of these cables ensure that the cables are pliable to ease installation in the reduced spaces commonly found on locomotives and power cars

All Pantograph cables supplied by Tratos comply with the applicable Fire Hazard Level (HL) category of BS EN 45545
