TITLE: Specification CW1909 for Cable Optical Fibre 750 – External – Armoured – Singlemode Non-pressurised

SCOPE: This cable is designed for installation direct in ground / directly buried.

The cable shall be of a loose tube construction containing 4 singlemode fibres.

The cable core shall contain a single loose tube with a black polyethylene sheath. This sheath and cable core is protected by a layer of steel wire armour with an outer black polyethylene sheath.

The cable is for use in transmission systems operating over the wavelength range 1250nm to 1625nm.
