The Queen’s Award
Tratos UK Ltd, part of the Tratos Group, has won a Queen’s Award for Enterprise.
The company collected the award for innovation from the UK’s leading award for business for its technologically advanced JBA® compound. The Queen’s Award for Enterprise chose Tratos’ cutting-edge JBA® compound – an advanced compound that can be modified to meet specific cable performance elements.
Ecovadis Sustainability Award
Sustainability innovator and independent cable manufacturer Tratos has been awarded a Silver Medal, placing it among the 25% of highest-placed companies scrutinised by the eco-ratings platform. Ecovadis is the world’s largest provider of business sustainability ratings, with a global network of more than 75,000 rated companies.
EMAS Environmental Certification
Tratos SrL has been awarded EMAS Environmental Certification. EMAS – the EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme – is a management system developed by the European Commission to enable companies and organisations to evaluate, report and improve their environmental performance. The body spans all economic and service sectors and is applicable worldwide.
Tratos Receives UK-Italy Business Awards
The British government, UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) and the British Consulate-General in Milan announced the winners of the seventh edition of the UK-Italy Business Awards on the 23rd January 2014. Tratos received the Industrial Investment Award. The award was presented by Christopher Prentice CMG, HM Ambassador to Ing. Albano Bragagni (President of Tratos Ltd) and Dr. Maurizio Bragagni (CEO of Tratos Ltd).
Tratos – ‘Company to Watch’ in 2016
Tratos has once again received the “Company to Watch” award from CERVED, the leading information and statistics source in Italy and one of Europe’s major rating agencies. The award recognises organisations that stand out within their sector for their economic and financial performance.
Tratos – Knowsley Business and Regeneration Awards
Tratos UK celebrated success at the Knowsley Business and Regeneration Awards 2015 when the cable company received the award for Commercial Developer of the Year. The annual awards, held at Knowsley Hall recognise the creativity, enterprise and hard work of the individuals and the organisations that contribute towards the borough’s economic prosperity.
Tratos’ Finance Director: one of the best in Merseyside
Being shortlisted for the Finance Director Awards 2014, which celebrates the achievements of leading individuals and businesses within the Chester, Liverpool City, North Wales & Warrington regions, could not be more befitting for Tratos’ Group Finance Director Kevin Martin. Born and bred in Merseyside, Kevin has worked in the region for over 30 years helping businesses and not-for-profit organisations thrive through good financial management.
Tratos wins Best Business Award – BBA
Global cable innovator Tratos has been named winner of Best Innovation category at the 2018 Best Business Awards (BBA). Tratos, which has manufacturing facilities in the UK and Italy and offices worldwide, was chosen for the top prize by a BBA panel of independent expert judges.
Tratos receives EEF Innovation Award
Global cable innovator Tratos UK has taken the regional Innovation Award at this year’s prestigious EEF Future Manufacturing Awards in the north west. Tratos won the HVM Catapult-sponsored Award which recognises innovation at work across product development or operating practices that have been proven to deliver greater productivity, efficiency or business growth.

Tratos UK celebrated success at this year’s Knowsley Business and Regeneration Awards when the international cable company received the award for Manufacturer of the Year. The annual awards, held at Knowsley Safari Park’s Grand Marquee, recognise the creativity, enterprise and hard work of individuals and the organisations that contribute towards the borough’s economic prosperity.
