At Tratos quality is paramount to grow as a business and to create a better and safer world.
The company’s Quality Policy is reviewed for suitability in every Management Review and it is communicated throughout the entire organisation. Tratos adheres to a policy of total commitment to quality. This commitment can only be effective if it is applied within the company and its suppliers.
Quality measures extend to producing cables without halogens to provide protection for people working with its cables and for the environment. Since 1980, Tratos has also been using clean renewable energy from its own hydroelectric plant. In 2001, the company started producing “Tratos-Green”, a cable made using only hydroelectric energy.
To demonstrate and ensure quality commitment in its daily operations, Tratos adheres to a wide range of standards including ISO, BSI and AENOR standards (see below for more information).
“By supporting our members to maximize the benefits of international standardization and ensure the uptake of ISO standards, we’re helping to meet the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)” (ISO, 2021)
Therefore, the compliance to ISO’s standards, which are all created in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations as highlighted above, allows Tratos to practically and concretely implement its values on a daily basis.
Indeed, Tratos’ values are based on the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations for the creation of a better and more sustainable world. By adhering to quality standards and continuously implementing and applying new and stronger quality measures, the company is able to apply into practice its values.
