TRATOS MARINE AMV – 3,6/6 kV (Umax = 7,2KV)
POWER MEDIUM VOLTAGE - LOW SMOKE HALOGEN FREE
TRATOS MARINE AMV – 3,6/6 kV (Umax = 7,2KV)
TRATOSMARINE AMV 3,6/6 KV (Umax = 7,2 kV) are TRATOS made cables in response to the need of medium voltage power cables, low smoke halogen free for Marine application, according standards IEC 60092350-354, IEC 60092-360, IEC 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-3-22, IEC 60754-1 and IEC 60754-2, IEC 61034-1 and 61034-2.
These cable unique design reduces the installation cost of the shipcables due to their increased pliability, reduced dimension and weight. Its special conductors and/or design (cores assembly, braid…) eases bending in order to speed up installation, and the use of new and innovative materials reduces its weight and diameter up to 20% against older generation cables. The flame retardant outer sheath is based on polyolefin and has been especially developed by TRATOS to resist damage and to reduce to a minimum friction during installation speeding the process.
Made of a plain conductor (tinned on request) of annealed copper cl. 2 (or cl.5 available) with a semiconductive layer and HEPR or XLPE insulation. Copper tape shield and extruded filler halogen free (If necessary). With inner covering SHF1 and tinned copper braid aromour; SHF1 Halogen free thermoplastic outer sheath.
Design guide according to IEC 60092350 applicable to shipboard and offshore non radial field power cables with extruded solid insulation intended for fixed installation and IEC 60092-354 applicable to shipboard and offshore power cables with extruded solid insulation, conductor and core screening. The cables are intended for fixed installations.
Flame retardance according IEC 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-3-22 which specifies the procedure for testing the resistance to vertical flame propagation for a single vertical electrical insulated conductor or cable, or optical fibre cable, under fire conditions; and halogen free properties under IEC 60754-1 which specifies the apparatus and procedure for the determination of the amount of halogen acid gas, other than hydrofluoric acid, evolved during the combustion of compounds based on halogenated polymers and compounds containing halogenated additives taken from electric or optical fibre cable constructions. The smoke emission is determined by IEC 61034-1 and IEC 61034-2 provides details of the test apparatus to be used for measuring smoke emission when electric or optical fibre cables are burnt under defined conditions.
