Oil & Gas Cables

Tratos produces cables for on and offshore use in the Oil & Gas industry worldwide. Umbilical cables, supplied in partnership with Brazilian manufacturer MFX, and highly specialised submarine cables are joined by an extensive range of cables for power, control, signalling and fibre optics. Tratos can also develop composite types that include any or all of these elements.

The company can offer cable to meet National and International standards, such as American, British and European standards including IEEE, NEK TS 606, BS6883, BS 7917 and UKOOA Guidelines. Cables can be supplied with approvals by Lloyd’s or other Classification Society Rules for Mud Resistant types.

Tratos Oil & Gas JBA® is a special cable range designed and manufactured for the Oil & Gas market to meet the most demanding requirements. The family of JBA® cables are mud resistant, fire resistant to extreme temperatures and capable of withstanding extreme conditions including water and impact.
