The Tratosflex-ESDB range features a unique internal cable with a modified design that keeps the cable tensioned to accommodate high-speed applications. This prevents twisting, which could lead to breakage during high-speed reeling. Thanks to its tough insulation and sheathed drum, Tratosflex-ESDB reeling cables can operate in temperatures from -60ºC to +90ºC.

AUTOMATED RMG (ARMG) SYSTEM

ARMG systems are at work at some of the world’s leading automated container terminals.

These are designed for greenfield and brownfield RTG-based container terminals. The cranes are built around a 16-wheel RTG and its ability to tolerate rough yard surfaces. The system includes a complete package of truck guidance infrastructure, a Remote Operating Station with a specially developed GUI, and an IT system that interfaces with your Terminal Operating System (TOS).

SHIP-TO-SHORE GANTRY CRANES

Ship-to-Shore cranes can be equipped with Active Load Control technology, which improves the crane operator’s control over the positioning of the spreader and container on the truck chassis, in the cell or on the deck, speeding up quayside productivity.

RUBBER TIRED GANTRY CRANES

Rubber-Tired Gantry (RTG) cranes are making container handling safer, more productive, and more reliable. Its steel structure, Active Load Control (ALC) technology and smarter cabin make this crane the most productive and reliable in the world.
The automated RTG (ARTG) system can be available for both greenfield and brownfield container terminals.

RAIL MOUNTED GANTRY CRANES

Rail-Mounted Gantry (RMG) cranes are the result of decades of design experience and performance. They incorporate recent innovations and technologies that have been proven over millions of on-the-job hours. The result is high performance, reliability, accuracy, low operating costs and low energy consumption. The company will tailor RMGs for the specific operation. It will also supply different sizes and configurations, including zero-outreach and two-sided outreach. STRADDLE CARRIERS

Straddle Carriers are highly manoeuvrable, offering speed and reliability. They do not require yard infrastructure and are available in different sizes, with stacking options of 1-over-2 or 1-over-3. This makes them ideally suited for step-by-step enlargement of container terminals. They are also available in automated versions, powered by eco-efficient diesel engines.

Straddle Carriers allow terminal operators to reduce the number of container-handling machine types and interfaces, since horizontal transport and stacking are performed by a single machine type.
