Its manufacturing and technical facilities are located at two sites in Knowsley, Merseyside, and at a fibre-optic cable manufacturing factory in Swindon. At the company’s production facilities, its manufacturing and technical facilities include four extrusion lines, multiple laying machines for up to 100 pairs of instrumentation-type cables, and two BX armouring machines for manufacturing corrugated aluminium/steel armour.
Tratos supplies the widest range of cables used by UK Utilities, Transmission Network Operators (TNOs), Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), Independent Distribution Network Operators (IDOs) and their contractors.
